Twilio.org Impact Corps volunteers can help you get started with Twilio, troubleshoot a project you have underway, advise you on application architecture, or sometimes help you build a small Twilio application. Search active volunteers by keyword or subject expertise to find someone with the right experience for your project. When contacting a volunteer, provide as much detail on your needs and goals as you can.
Following your introduction, your Impact Corps volunteer will send you three potential meeting times. Select the date and time that is best for you, and your volunteer will confirm your session. You and your Impact Corps volunteer will get each other's contact information over email to arrange logistics for your advisory session.
Your advisory session can happen in person, by video, or by phone. The Impact Corps volunteer will work with you to understand your organization’s needs and discover how they can help. If your needs are limited to architecture guidance or troubleshooting, this conversation may be all that’s needed. Any follow-up actions or conversations after the advisory session should be mutually agreed upon by you and the volunteer.
If your project is longer than a few sessions, you and your Impact Corps volunteer will create a timeline and agree on the outcomes you'd like to create together. We recommend setting up regular check-ins and provide any additional information that will help your volunteer ensure your success.
Want to give your volunteer some kudos or offer feedback on ways to make volunteer engagements even better? Provide a review of your experience to help other organizations find the best volunteer for their projects, and to help the Impact Corps work even better.
